The last time I saw Sherlock we were saying goodbye after hours of wonderful conversation over dinner. Deni H had arranged for the three of us to have dinner together after Deni and I had run the 10K.

Sherlock was so funny and observant. I loved how she came right out and asked what she wanted to ask without reservation, and how she accepted when I would sidestep certain topics.

As we said our goodbyes, I offered a handshake but she stayed true to her southern charm and we hugged. What a nice conclusion to a first meeting, of which I hope there are many more.
